Fill your Saturday with laughs!
Back by popular demand, this drop-in workshop is for everyone - all levels from “Improv? Is that a typo?” to “I perform with a house team in Somewhereville.”
We’re just going to play! So, whether you’re a total newbie or you’ve been through a program and have some shows under your belt, there’s always something new to learn or practice. We’ll go over the basics, do some warm-ups, storytelling and character exercises, play some goofy games, and then step it up with some long-form scenes.
Come when you can, stay as long as you’re able, and have a blast with this wild, mash-up overview to kick your creativity into high gear—and get you psyched for future improv experiences!
Your instructors
Darlene Cah (A snarky but encouraging old NY improv actor and writer)
Marianne Carruth (Respected actor/director, and relatively sane compared to the snarky one)
RSVP ASAP so we can get a headcount and create the best workshop to suit the group.
We need a minimum of 6 students to hold the class, maximum of 12 to ensure everyone gets a chance to participate. Donations will be accepted on the day of the class to benefit future Shakespeare & Friends activities.
